On May 24, 2019, a team of academics, graduate students, artists, authors, journalists and boaters embarked on a 70 day expedition which re-traced the route of John Wesley Powell and crew in 1869. We rowed ~1,000 miles and ended on the shoreline of Lake Mead, AZ on August 1, 2019.
